Pink is such a pretty colour but can be so tricky to wear. There are only two possible outcomes with pink pieces, you either end up with a super cool outfit which will earn you a lot of compliments or you’ll end up looking, well, not so cool. But it’s a colour that keeps coming back every few season so in case you’re wondering how to wear pink and still look stylish the one rule that I’ve developed over time, and trust me I’ve been wearing quite a lot of pink at some point in my life, is to keep it simple.
This one easy, basic rule will help you pull off anything pink in your wardrobe. If you’re still having doubts let’s look at a few relevant examples. This pink Zara dress, which I know you love because of the number of likes on my Instagram. Believe it or not, this dress is on repeat in my weekly outfits ,which you know by now from my Snapchat story. I admit, I’m one of those people who develop an obsession with certain clothes and keeps wearing them over and over again, but beyond liking the dress tthe real reason why I keep wearing it’s because is an easy outfit to put together but still has an impact. The dress has some nice cuts in the front and also the back so I’m keeping it down when it comes to my accessories and wearing white lace espadrilles white it for a day look.
Need another example? Look no further than today’s outfit. A pink jumpsuit perfect for the hot days, especially here in Barcelona. Hat, sandals, and sunnies are the only things completing this look. So keeping it simple works! If I’m to define one more rule for pulling off pink then I would tell you to stay away from anything too tight or too short, pink is already an impactful colour so adding another element like something short or tight might look like you’re trying too hard.
I guess there is no more standing reason why not to wear pink this summer so go ahead and buy that dress until is not too late.
