Current status? Counting down the days till summer and I bet I’m not the only one. Everyone loves summer and no wonder, it’s when we feel most alive but also when drinking your two liters of water a day becomes even more important. If you’re anything like me, who forgets to drink water for hours, you’re probably barely reaching those 2 liters mark. How to fix this? My solution is water infused with fruits or ice tea. When I have fruit infused water next to my desk I noticed I tend to drink more and sometimes even finish it, which is a small success in itself.
This recipe is super tasty, full of antioxidants, a bit unusual because of the pomegranate and kiwi mix and as much as I hate to admit it is also a detox drink. I didn’t really understand the detox trend, especially the juicing one, but I do believe in the benefits of drinking water with lemon.
What you need:
♥ Mineral water, sparkling or still
♥ Pomegranate seeds
It’s so easy to prepare it. Just crushed the pomegranate seeds to release the juices, add some lemon juice, kiwi slices, and water. Now all that’s left to do is to enjoy it!
